Wintonbury Hills Golf Course is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for the position of Golf Course Maintenance. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.

Responsibilities

1. Operate hand and power tools, as well as powered equipment, to maintain various areas of the golf course and grounds.
2. Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds with ease.
3. Work outdoors, primarily in the early mornings and seasonal weekends, with potential for ½ day/week schedules.

Qualifications

• Prior landscape or golf course maintenance experience is helpful but not necessary.
• An understanding of the game of golf is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to be mobile and physically active.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage: up to $19.75 per hour for a 40-hour workweek, with overtime on weekends exceeding 40 hours, depending on qualifications, through 11/20/2025.

About Wintonbury Hills Golf Course

This public 18-hole championship golf course, built in 2001 and designed by Pete Dye with Tim Liddy, features a good assortment of maintenance equipment with a replacement program underway. Many projects are planned to improve agronomics, turf health, design, and playability. Owned by the Town of Bloomfield and operated by Indigo/Troon Golf Management, the largest golf management company in the world.
