Job summary

American Golf Corporation is seeking a Landscape Gardener to maintain the beauty, health, and appearance of landscaped areas across the golf course and clubhouse grounds. This role supports the guest and member experience by ensuring plants are properly installed, maintained, and cared for throughout the year.

The Landscape Gardener works with the Superintendent and Grounds team to promote healthy plant growth, sustainable practices, and visually appealing grounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of landscaping or related experience.
• Knowledge of plant identification, seasonal planting, pruning, fertilization, irrigation, and landscape maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools, equipment, and motor vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality outdoor environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and proper equipment operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, ornamental plants, and landscaped areas throughout the property.
• Perform seasonal planting, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, watering, and general landscape maintenance activities.
• Monitor plant health and identify potential issues related to disease, pests, irrigation, or environmental conditions.
• Recommend appropriate plant materials and landscaping improvements for various areas of the club and golf course.
• Assist with landscape renovation, beautification, and enhancement projects.
• Maintain landscape beds, walkways, entry areas, clubhouse grounds, and other designated areas to company standards.
• Operate landscaping equipment, hand tools, and motorized equipment safely and effectively.
• Support irrigation and watering efforts to promote healthy plant growth and appearance.
• Remove weeds, debris, dead plant material, and other landscape hazards as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental best practices while performing duties.
• Assist with special projects and seasonal property preparation as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
