Job summary

Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC is seeking a full-time Golf Course Maintenance Landscape Crew Member to help maintain three championship courses and support playing conditions.

You will work outdoors on early morning setup, mowing and trimming turf, and assisting with irrigation and landscape improvement projects. Hours vary, typically 6:00 AM to dusk, Monday through Friday with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience with landscape or grounds maintenance equipment preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare golf courses for daily play during early morning setup.
• Mow and trim turf using walk-behind and riding equipment.
• Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Repair divots and pitch marks to ensure course quality.
• Report equipment damage and assist with maintenance tasks.
• Operate equipment and perform daily checks on fuel and oil.

Golf Course Maintenance Landscape Crew Member

Prestonwood Country Club, one of the premier private clubs in the Triangle area, is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our Golf Course Maintenance Landscape Crew. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work outdoors on our three championship golf courses while contributing to the exceptional playing conditions our members and guests enjoy every day.

What You’ll Do

• Preparing golf courses for daily play during early morning course setup
• Mowing and trimming turf using both walk-behind and riding equipment
• Maintaining greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers
• Repairing divots, pitch marks, and ball marks to ensure excellent course conditions
• Edging around sprinkler heads and other landscape features
• Operating equipment such as rough mowers, tractors, and other maintenance machinery
• Performing daily equipment checks, including fuel, oil, coolant, and grease levels
• Reporting equipment damage or mechanical issues to supervisors
• Assisting with special projects, including irrigation installation and repair, drainage improvements, tee construction, turf installation, tree removal, and other golf course enhancement projects
• Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old

Schedule

• Hours vary, typically between 6:00 AM and dusk
• Monday through Friday
• Every other weekend required

Compensation

Competitive tiered pay: $13.50–$16.75 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and ability to operate maintenance equipment.
