Job summary

Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort in Deerwood MN is seeking a seasonal Golf & Grounds team member to perform course maintenance and support guest experiences. You will operate mowing and trimming equipment and assist in keeping greens and fairways pristine.

Ideal candidates have golf-related education or landscape experience and a passion for guest service. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a team that values reliability and teamwork.

REPORTS TO:

Golf & Grounds Superintendent

SUMMARY:

As part of a team, complete course maintenance under specific guidelines. Perform outstanding guest service on a daily basis. Interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Golf-related education preferred.
• Landscape experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Responsible for golf course upkeep, including mowing, string trimming, bunker raking and digging.
• Clean equipment after use to keep in good working order.
• Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

EXPECTATIONS:

The employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill these functions. Ruttger’s further expects every employee to exhibit stellar guest service and a regular attendance record.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass Ruttger’s background check;
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
