Job summary

Monarch Beach Golf Links, located in Dana Point, CA, is seeking a Player Assistant to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Rate: $16.90 - $17.90 per hour (Depending on Experience). This role emphasizes maintaining a professional appearance, assisting the Pro Shop, and ensuring a smooth pace of play while providing excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong work ethic is essential.
• Friendly personality and enjoyment of working with the public.
• Strong customer/guest orientation.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Knowledge about the game of golf is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance.
• Keep a reasonable pace of play on the courses.
• Communicate with the Pro Shop to maintain an accurate pace of play.
• Coordinate with Starter and Pro Shop on pace of play concerns.
• Assist Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
• Advise guests on course conditions, pace of play, local rules and other golf-related issues.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
