Job summary

Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, CA is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Professional to support the club's operations and enhance member and guest experiences. This role involves assisting with POS and tee time systems, managing shop duties, and helping to coordinate club events while growing knowledge of golf operations.

The ideal candidate has related experience or an AA, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work weekends.

Qualifications

• AA degree or related experience.
• Regularly stands, walks and sits; physical requirements.
• Occasionally works in wet/humid conditions and outdoor weather.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.

Responsibilities

• Assists in administering POS revisions for sales and billing; coordinate with Accounting on policy updates.
• Reconciles daily tee sheets; processes payments; resolves discrepancies.
• Promotes all club golf activities.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked golf shop and assists with merchandising.
• Prepares for golf outings: scorecards, labels, rules sheets, etc.
• Assists with associate training and safety practices.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
