Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, FL seeks a skilled Grounds Worker/Landscaper to maintain the golf course turf in playing condition under supervision. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and hands-on operation of mowing, irrigation, and equipment.

Responsibilities include operating turf equipment, performing minor repairs, trimming trees and shrubs, cleaning machinery, and supporting routine grounds maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have valid and current Florida driver's license.
• Must have experience with driving mowers, tractors, and push mowers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and turf of golf course in playing condition as directed by supervisors.
• Connect hose and sprinkler systems at designated points on course to irrigate turf.
• Digs and rakes ground to prepare new greens, grades and cleans traps, and repairs rosebeds.
• Plants, trims, and sprays trees and shrubs.
• Safety operates equipment and mowers and pluggers used for various course maintenance needs.
• Cleans machinery after each use.
• Inspects machinery/reports equipment problems to supervisor.
• Loads and unloads materials.
