Job summary

Spring Run Golf Club is seeking an Equipment Operator to support daily golf course maintenance, including mowing, bunker care, planting, and landscape upkeep. You will learn safe operation of department machinery and contribute to a clean, professional environment for members and staff.

Under the supervision of the course superintendents, you will perform assigned tasks, attend trainings, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Willingness to learn basic golf course maintenance tasks and progress to more advanced duties as proficiency is demonstrated.
Flexible availability required, including weekends and holidays. May be required to return to the job site at unusual hours during emergency situations.

Responsibilities

Mow lawns, approaches, fairways, tees, and slopes as directed.
Rake bunkers and maintain bunker edges and surrounding areas.
Plant and maintain trees, shrubbery, flowers, and hedges as directed.
Install and maintain pine straw as directed.
Maintain landscape beds through edging, weed control, and related upkeep.
Use weed eaters, edgers, and related equipment to maintain traps, paths, landscape areas, and other assigned areas.
Perform additional golf course maintenance duties and other job-related tasks as assigned.
