Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a dedicated Golf Course Maintenance worker to care for all golf course areas and the maintenance facility. The role involves operating hand-held tools and ride-on equipment safely, maintaining greens, bunkers, cart paths and sprinkler systems, and performing routine mulching duties.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varied weather. The team operates 7 days a week with weekend/overtime availability expected.

Qualifications

• Prefer previous experience on golf course or construction site (including use of Heavy Equipment).
• Operate equipment with precision and care.
• Must be able to bend, stretch and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel and work in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Open to receiving feedback regarding performance.
• Punctuality is a must.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all golf course areas and maintenance facility.
• Operate equipment safely and use hand-held tools.
• Mow greens and tees; maintain bunkers and cart paths.
• Daily cleanup of equipment and facility.
• Spread mulch three times per week.
• Report safety hazards and equipment issues to supervision.
• Perform other duties as required by supervision.
• Golf Course Maintenance operates 7 days per week; weekends and overtime may be required.
