Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a Golf Course Equipment Operator for the Oconee Course in Greensboro, GA to maintain course areas and the maintenance facility. Responsibilities include operating hand-held and power equipment, keeping greens, bunkers, and paths in top condition, and daily cleanup of gear.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and adherence to safety protocols. Weekend availability and precise, detail-oriented work are essential.

Qualifications

• Prefer previous experience on golf course or construction site (including use of Heavy Equipment).
• Must be able to bend, stretch and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all golf course areas and maintenance facility using hand-held and power equipment.
• Operates weed eaters, mowers, blowers, edgers, rakes and shovels safely.
• Maintains sprinkler heads, valve boxes, bunkers and cart paths.
• Walks greens and tees, conducts daily equipment and facility cleanup.
• Reports equipment issues to Equipment Manager and spreads mulch as needed.
• Works seven days a week; overtime and weekend availability as required.
