Job summary

The Summit Club, located just outside Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an Equipment Operator to maintain its award-winning golf course and surrounding landscapes. You will operate tractors, mowers, backhoes, and other maintenance equipment under supervision of the grounds team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and prior golf course or construction experience, plus the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and to lift heavy items as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Prior experience on golf course maintenance or similar construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of large and small engine operation and repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic powered machine operation and repair is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment including tractors, loaders, backhoes, mowers and other maintenance gear.
• Mows greens, tees, fairways and rough using appropriate mowers and hand tools.
• Rakes and manicures desert landscape and sand traps.
• Performs renovations, construction tasks, and general cleanup.
• Loads and unloads materials and assists in site maintenance.
