Job summary

Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking an Equipment Operator to support daily golf course maintenance. You will operate and service equipment, mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs, and assist with irrigation installation under Troon’s guidance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with emphasis on safe practices and reliable attendance. This is a full-time on-site position at the Panther National course.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–6 months of related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates all equipment used in daily course maintenance.
• Mows greens, tees, and approaches with gang mowers.
• Operates sod cutter and spray rigs; assists in fertilization as directed.
• Mows fairways and rough areas and operates other equipment as directed.
• Maintains fluid levels in equipment daily.
• Reports equipment problems to mechanic immediately.
• Installs irrigation and drainage systems as directed.
• Uses transit, level or layout devices to construct grades.
• Returns equipment to designated location properly cleaned and serviced.
• Oversees other maintenance staff and ensures safety.
