Job summary

Windstar on Naples Bay is seeking a Maintenance Operator to support golf course maintenance. You will mow fairways and roughs using gang units and operate a variety of maintenance equipment essential to course upkeep.

You will also help with fertilizer applications and routine equipment care. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in hot conditions, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to operate golf course maintenance equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in hot conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Mows fairways and roughs using gang units.
• Operates all walk behind equipment and related maintenance processes.
• Operates tractors, turf vac, skip-loader, aerifiers, sprayers.
• Assists with fertilizer applications as directed.
• Keeps equipment clean, monitors cooling systems, and reports problems to supervisor.
• Provides basic preventive maintenance and returns gear to maintenance facility.
