Job summary

Woodholme Country Club in Pikesville, Maryland, is seeking a Full-Time Equipment Manager to lead the golf course fleet and maintenance operations. You will oversee mowers, tractors, and other club vehicles, and build a preventive maintenance program aligned with manufacturer recommendations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and safe work practices while supporting events and daily operations. Experience in golf course maintenance is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent.
• Degree preference in diesel mechanics, auto mechanics, or small engines.
• Experience in golf course maintenance preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall responsibility for the golf course equipment fleet (mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, loaders, trailers, small engines).
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule based on manufacturer recommendations and usage.
• Ensure equipment is prepared for daily use, seasonal changes, tournaments, and events.
• Establish priorities for repairs and maintenance based on operational needs.
• Assist in staff training and coaching while following safe practices.
