Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in golf course or turfgrass maintenance.
• Valid Florida Restricted Pesticide License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid BMP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Applies fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides as needed.
• Analyzes environmental conditions to select proper products and methods.
• Maintains detailed records of all chemical applications.

Skills

Knowledge of Florida BMPs for golf course maintenance

Knowledge of Turfgrass species and greens-keeping principles

Knowledgeable in safe use of mowing and spraying equipment

Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude for calibration

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Education

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Turfgrass Management

Turfgrass Management Certificate or related experience
