Job Description

The Golf Course Attendant is responsible for assisting golf guests with their clubs and equipment, ensuring golf operations are prepared daily to meet guest needs, and providing exceptional service to internal and external guests.

• Greet guests and assist with their golf bags and items to be loaded into golf carts.
• Guide guests to the golf shop, practice facility, and first tee.
• Perform pre-opening duties, including ensuring enough golf carts are available based on the tee sheet.
• Keep golf carts clean and stocked with towels, scorecards, tees, and pencils.
• Set up and maintain the practice facility, ensuring an adequate supply of range balls daily.
• Maintain the pool area, including stocking towels, cleaning, and trash removal.
• Assist guests with cleaning clubs and loading bags into vehicles or storage areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate golf carts and light motorized equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work in a drug-free environment and pass required tests.
• Obtain and maintain necessary licenses/certifications per regulations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills are typically acquired through a high school education and a working knowledge of golf and its regulations.
