Job summary

Mobile Civil Service is seeking a capable individual for clerical, housekeeping and maintenance work at a city golf course and facilities. This is routine work supporting operations and upkeep of grounds, buildings and related services.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and a valid driver's license. Starting salary is $37,569 per year, with eligibility standards and medical examinations as required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and preferably some related work experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

Special Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.

Eligibility:

• Eligibles selected for appointment must meet the established medical and physical standards for the class of work. The medical examination must be by one of the physicians designated by the Personnel Board. Appointees must bear the cost of the examination.
