Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent Apprentice to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This position offers comprehensive training across three different golf courses, providing essential experience in turfgrass management, irrigation, pest control, and more.

Qualifications

Ability to obtain NC Pesticide License within 6 months.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Assist in daily golf course maintenance operations.
Participate in agronomic programs including fertilization and chemical applications.
Maintain accurate records for chemical applications.
Monitor course conditions and communicate issues.
Assist with irrigation system operation and repairs.
Support supervision of maintenance staff.
Assist with tournament and event preparation.
Participate in continuing education.
