Job summary

Cedarwood Country Club in Charlotte, NC is hiring Golf Cart Outside Staff to ensure a smooth, enjoyable golfing experience for members and guests. You will greet guests, anticipate needs, maintain carts, and assist with loading bags while staying safety-conscious.

We value an enthusiastic, reliable team player who communicates well and can work varied shifts, including weekends, in an outdoor setting. Prior outdoor or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for providing excellent service.
• Positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm for engaging with members, guests and other staff.
• Must be proactive, observant, and able to anticipate member needs without being asked.
• Ability to engage in casual conversation while maintaining professionalism.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and available to work different shifts as well as weekend days.
• Previous experience in customer service or outdoor positions is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Anticipate needs and provide proactive service (water, umbrellas, etc.).
• Ensure golf carts are clean, stocked, and properly maintained.
• Be knowledgeable about the course and available amenities.
• Assist with loading/unloading bags onto carts in a courteous manner.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while operating golf carts.
