Job summary

TaylorMade Golf is seeking a Golf Ball Cost Manager to spearhead cost assessment and strategy for all golf ball products. You will collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Finance and leadership to identify true costs, drive margin improvements, and guide cost-reduction initiatives across internal facilities and external suppliers.

Ideal candidates will have strong activity-based costing, financial modeling, demand planning, and negotiation skills, with extensive experience in cost analysis and lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
• At least 5+ years in costing, NPI, product development, sourcing, or engineering.
• Commitment to continuous education in project management and supply chain metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead activity-based costing to identify cost by product type and facility.
• Lead cross-functional margin initiatives across facilities and suppliers.
• Build financial models to aid senior leadership decisions.
• Create and present golf ball supply chain strategy to executives.
• Lead supplier evaluations, negotiate prices and terms.
• Support cross-functional NPI teams with cost insights.
• Develop analytical models linking design and cost drivers.
• Establish price quoting process for domestic and foreign suppliers.
• Manage price lists and revision histories per product/supplier.
• Create cost roll-up documents for new product introductions.
• Research pricing trends for commodities in TaylorMade's supply chain.
• Facilitate cost reviews with R&D, Engineering and Product Creation.
• Represent sourcing in weekly development and new product meetings.
• Develop sourcing strategy for faster, cost-effective ball delivery.
• Perform related duties as required.
