DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Category Merchandiser to develop and manage subcategory assortments in collaboration with Buyers, ensuring brand vision and consumer needs are met.

You will work with Planning and Allocations to align financial plans with assortment strategies, analyze market data, and present pre-season line reviews to leadership, including Chief Merchant expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field or equivalent retail experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with preferred experience as an Assistant Buyer.

Responsabilités

• Develop category assortments in partnership with the buyer to meet consumer needs and brand vision.
• Manage in-season performance with planning and allocations; adjust strategies as needed.
• Execute new line delivery tasks including style setup and PO writing; review department reports and present action plans.
• Develop strategic vendor partnerships and monitor performance through market trips and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor Assistant Buyers and Merch Admins; share best practices and drive productivity.

Formation

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field or equivalent retail experience

3-5 years of experience with preferred experience as an Assistant Buyer
