Job summary

PING is seeking a Fitting & Performance Intern for Summer 2027 in Phoenix, AZ. The role combines engineering with golf analytics to improve the custom fitting experience through Ballnamic, WebFit, and related tools.

Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields, with strong analytical skills and an interest in applying data to performance decisions. This is an onsite summer internship in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of college coursework completed.
• Must commit to 8 weeks (40 hours/week).
• Onsite in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Support development and enhancement of Ballnamic, WebFit, PING Co-Pilot applications.
• Analyze golfer, club fitting and performance data to identify trends.
• Develop algorithms and models to support fitting recommendations.
• Evaluate data quality and perform statistical analyses.
• Assist with user testing and validation of fitting technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, fitters and product teams to improve experiences.
• Support research on golfer performance and equipment optimization.
