Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Supplier Quality Engineer for an onsite Goleta, CA role. You will be the primary interface between our supplier base and internal stakeholders on critical and technically advanced programs.

This position requires active DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship. You will support supplier assessments, drive continuous improvement, and participate in APQP processes to strengthen quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 5+ years in quality or related field.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9145 standards.
• Ability to read schematics and perform hardware inspection.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal teams and suppliers.
• Interpret program requirements for supplier compliance.
• Engage with stakeholders on quality, cost, and schedule.
• Drive supplier improvements using RCA, Six Sigma, Lean.
• Apply APQP processes to supplier performance.
• Travel up to 25% to support supplier assessments.
• Represent quality in reviews of supplier changes.
• Collaborate with Goleta program team in an onsite setting.
