Raytheon’s Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to serve as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for a development program focused on program execution. This on‑site role is located in Goleta, CA.

Responsibilities

• Meet contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned programs within company expectations.
• Report business metrics to program and functional leadership, including Estimates at Completion (EAC).
• Provide technical execution leadership for design, development, integration, testing, verification, qualification, and delivery of systems that meet performance requirements.
• Communicate program status, accomplishments, issues, and support needs to Raytheon leadership and customers.
• Act as member of Program Leadership Team, contribute to developing and aligning program vision and execution strategies.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks or capture opportunities.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to team members.
• Travel as necessary to support the program (approximately 10%).

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Program Management and/or IPT execution within the defense industry.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams including engineering, contracts, finance, procurement/supply chain, manufacturing/operations, quality management, and/or administrative functions.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or risk and opportunity management.
• Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance (active, transferable) required prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.
• Preferred: experience leading development and maintenance across multiple program sites, supplier management, hardware engineering teams, transition to production, Agile lifecycle management tools (preferably Jira), excellent presentation and proposal skills, and electronic warfare domain experience.
