Job summary

Wesdome Gold Mines Ltd. in Idaho is seeking a Mill Operations Supervisor with strong mineral processing leadership to manage day and night milling operations, ensure safety, and drive recovery targets. The role emphasizes coaching operators and optimizing throughput.

You will work a 12-hour shift, 14 days on and 14 days off, and contribute to a comprehensive compensation package including bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive mineral processing experience and 2 years crew leadership.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong background in process plant operations.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, leadership, supervisory and conflict-resolution skills.
• Self-motivated, team player with good interpersonal skills.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the gold milling operations, including ore processing and recovery.
• Train and mentor mill operators and technicians; lead troubleshooting and optimization.
• Enforce safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production parameters and report deviations or inefficiencies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase throughput and reduce costs.
• Oversee inventory of chemicals and spare parts; ensure adequate supplies.
• Coordinate with senior metallurgists to optimize gold recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and safety practices.
