Coldspring is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to turn raw data into usable business insights. You will own the dbt environment and lead the development of the gold layer, including curated data sets and certified sources, while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of degree.
• 5+ years in BI/analytics/data engineering with SQL, dbt.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain the dbt environment.
• Build dbt models across bronze -> silver -> gold with data quality tests.
• Translate business questions into data requirements and deliver answers.
• Design and build the gold layer with conformed, pre-joined data across domains.
• Establish naming, testing, documentation, and version control standards.
