Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) seeks a Marketing Coordinator for Gold Dust West Reno. The role supports casino marketing activities, events, and promotions at the Reno property in downtown gaming district. The candidate will oversee events from planning to execution and assist with promotional campaigns.

This full-time position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing systems, with a focus on data management and guest experience. Nevada licensing readiness is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in computer technology and marketing systems.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of marketing systems including Player Tracking systems.
• Identification that establishes identity and right to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming License/registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support all marketing events, promotions, special functions and tournaments from implementation to completion.
• Coordinate and schedule Promotions Assistants for on-site and off-site events and promotions.
• Provide promotional/event support to marketing staff with flexible hours based on business needs.
• Assist hosting monthly parties, drawings, and holiday events.
• Proof monthly loyalty mailers for accuracy.
• Manage marketing events and data uploads in marketing systems.
• Create and manage event coupons to ensure a seamless rewards system for players.
• Place casino signage/marketing communication inside and outside the property, including digital signage.
• Manage marketing inventory and monthly reporting.
• Resolve guest-related issues and improve guest experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise and support all marketing events, promotions, special functions and tournaments as well as all casino marketing activities and programs from implementation to completion


• Responsible for the scheduling, coordination and coverage of Promotions Assistants for all on-site and off-site events and promotions


• Provide promotional/event support to marketing staff when necessary, keeping flexible hours based on business needs in both properties


• Assist in hosting of parties to include but not limited to monthly birthday parties, drawings, holiday parties, premium parties, etc.


• Proof all direct mail monthly loyalty mailers for accuracy


• Manage all marketing events and data uploads in various marketing systems (i.e., MGT, IGT Patron)


• Create and manage all required event coupons in marketing systems to achieve a seamless reward system for players


• Facilitate placement of all casino signage/marketing communication for both inside and outside of the property, including digital signage


• Manage marketing inventory and monthly reporting


• Resolve any problems or perceived internal/external guest inconveniences

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma and Equivalent Work Experience


• Proficiency in computer technology and marketing systems
