Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for Gold Dust West Carson City. This role supports casino marketing activities, events, and guest relations at a property featuring 148 hotel rooms, a 32-lane bowling center, RV park, and sports book.

Essential duties include coordinating promotions, hosting for Gold Rewards players, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Nevada Gaming Control Board registration is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board is required.
• Identification that establishes identity.
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and conducting all current and upcoming promotional events and casino marketing activities.
• Act as a personal casino host to Gold Rewards Club Players and maintain contact as directed.
• Resolve any guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Help host monthly events such as birthday parties, drawings, and holiday parties.
• Make reservations for rooms, entertainment, dining, and other attractions when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of marketing systems including IGT Patron and PKMS.
• Stay knowledgeable about all marketing programs and procedures.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists as directed and scheduled to implement and conduct all current and upcoming special events, promotions, tournaments as well as all casino marketing activities and programs
• Act as needed as a personal casino host to all Gold Rewards Club Players including but not limited to: knowledge of their play, maintaining contact with them as directed by the Carson City Marketing Manager--this contact may be on a daily, weekly or monthly basis either through direct attention on the floor, note cards, phone calls etc.
• Resolve any problem or perceived inconvenience in order to ensure guest satisfaction
• Assist in hosting parties to include but not limited to; monthly birthday parties, drawings, holiday parties, Premium parties etc.….
• Makes reservations for guest rooms, entertainment, dining, attractions, and other accommodations as the need arises
• Has thorough knowledge of all marketing systems including IGT Patron and Kiosk(PKMS)
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of all marketing programs and procedures
