Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) seeks a part-time Restaurant Server at Gold Dust West Elko. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, serving meals, and providing friendly, efficient service in a casino-hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with all menu items, prices and hours of operation.
• Provide courteous, professional guest service during dining.

• Assist in pre-bussing and clearing tables.
• Set up or close the wait station and complete daily side work.
• Assist guests with questions about activities on the property.
• Practice responsible alcohol service (TIPS) and identify guests.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Familiarity with all menu items, menu prices and hours of operation & promotions
• Maintain a clean work area, professional appearance, and present positive customer service techniques
• Provide service to guests while dining
• Assist Busser in pre-bussing of tables
• Set up or close of wait station
• Clean stations and tables
• Complete daily side work
• Assist guests with questions regarding activities on the property
• Practice TIPS awareness and the responsible serving of alcohol

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Strong communications skills
• Basic computer knowledge and cash handling skills
• Knowledge of Infogenesis & Patron systems helpful
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
• Registered with Nevada Gaming Control Board
