Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is seeking a Dishwasher for Gold Dust West Carson City.

The position involves cleaning back-of-house areas, dishes, trash, and assisting in maintaining sanitary kitchen operations in a fast-paced gaming and entertainment venue. Base pay ranges from $13.00 to $16.00 per hour for full-time hourly non-exempt status, with a $1000 hiring bonus, referral bonus, tuition reimbursement and a broad benefits program after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Clean back-of-house areas including kitchen, restaurant, food storage and trash handling areas.
• Clean china, glass, silverware, cooking equipment, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Scrape dishes, collect and transport waste and garbage.
• Return clean items to proper preparation area (kitchen or restaurant).
• Move boxes, milk crates and trash to outside dumpsters.
• Follow sanitary and proper food handling procedures.
• Perform general weekly or monthly maintenance as deemed by kitchen management.
• Assist with back-of-house supply and cleanup as needed.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
