Job summary

The CLINICAL DIETITIAN role is part of the patient care team, providing nutrition therapy by assessing status, planning and evaluating care, and adjusting plans for best outcomes. You will counsel patients and families on food needs, eating habits, and therapeutic nutrition.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, documentation, educational material development, collaboration with the care team, and participation in rounds to ensure high quality nutrition care.

Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Dietitian license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in an acute or long‑term care hospital setting.
• Knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy principles and experience delivering individualized nutritional interventions.
• Understanding of mandatory mandates governing dietary guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
