Job summary
Tundra Technical Solutions is recruiting a Software Engineer to support the next generation Point-of-Sale platform. You will deliver backend enhancements, maintain cloud-native services, and provide L4 production support to ensure platform stability and scalability.
The ideal candidate brings strong Golang, microservices, APIs, cloud technologies, and production troubleshooting experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on Golang development.
- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- CI/CD pipeline development and deployment experience.
- Production support, troubleshooting, and RCA.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Golang-based microservices and APIs.
- Build and enhance REST and GraphQL services supporting store operations and enterprise integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Refactor legacy applications to improve performance and maintainability.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Support deployments, change management, and operational readiness activities.
