Godfrey Marine, a proud Polaris division, is expanding its Elkhart Team and hiring Assembly Associates across competency levels. You will play a hands-on role in crafting world-class pontoon and deck boats from the ground up, using standard hand and power tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.

We welcome seasoned marine manufacturing professionals or motivated individuals with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

As an Assembly Associate, you will play a hands-on role in crafting our world-class pontoon and deck boats from the ground up.

• Assemble high-quality marine components, structures, hardware, and accessories using standard hand and power tools
• Inspect finished parts and assemblies to ensure they meet our rigorous safety, quality, and craft standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to maintain clean, safe, and efficient production lines.
• Participate in training programs expand your manufacturing skill set and advance within the company.

Position Overview

Production Tier 1 competency level ranges from no experience to approximately (6) months of transferable job experience. In order to remain an employee in good standing the employee must meet these minimum requirements.

Essential Job Functions

• Knowledge of air tools and hand tools such as screw guns, impact guns, caulking guns staple guns, air ratchets, and sanders
• Must be able to read prints and use a tape measure
• Able to understand and follow the requirements, policies, and guidelines set forth within the Code of Conduct & Employee Handbook expectations
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work
• Must be able to follow the Company’s Safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) guidelines
