Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation in Atlanta seeks an Extended National Team Goalkeeper Manager to educate, equip, and develop top talents through age-appropriate, skill-building approaches with the goal of grooming players for the Senior Extended National Teams.

This role requires coaching expertise, strong communication, and collaboration with peers to identify, develop, and transition talents along the player pathway, ensuring alignment with the US Soccer philosophy and development plans.

Qualifications

• USSF “B” License or higher (or comparable UEFA B)
• Coaching experience within elite youth development
• Passion for working with and developing young players
• Proven history of developing the individual player
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage and lead self and others
• Willing to relocate once National Training Facility is established in Atlanta
• Able to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Reports to Head of Goalkeeping
• Collaborates with leadership and technical staff to align environment for players
• Lead Goalkeeper Coach across Extended National Teams as needed
• Oversee development and performance environment for goalkeepers
• Create optimal on- and off-field conditions for players
• Align with USSF Player Development Philosophy and plan
• Deliver the player pathway document outlining focus areas
• Identify and report high-potential players across pathway
• Contribute to talent identification audits with insights for selection
• Develop national team goalkeepers and ensure robust IDP
• Engage in post-camp reviews and implement personal development plans
• Support club engagement and coaching education programs
