Job summary

U.S. Soccer is seeking a dynamic Extended National Team Goalkeeper Manager to educate, equip, and develop top talents through age-appropriate, skill-building approaches aimed at grooming players for Senior teams.

You will implement coaching expertise, communicate effectively in person and remotely, and collaborate with peers to identify, select, and transition talents along the player pathway within the US Soccer structure.

Qualifications

• USSF "B" License or higher (or comparable UEFA B)
• Coaching experience within elite youth development
• Passion for working with and developing young players
• Proven history of developing the individual player
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage and lead self and others
• Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and Video Editing
• Willing to relocate once National Training Facility is established in Atlanta

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Head of Goalkeeping
• Collaborates with the Director of Extended National Teams and coaches to create the best aligned environment
• Works to support and lead a high-performance environment for the Extended National Teams
• Oversee the individual development and performance environment for goalkeepers
• Creates the conditions for an optimal on- and off-the-field performance
• Deliver the US Player pathway document outlining focus areas for all ages and stages
• Identify, report, record, and select high potential players across the pathway
• Contribute to the talent identification audit process with player insights
• Ensure all national team goalkeepers have an up-to-date IDP
• Engage in robust post-camp reviews and adapt personal development plans
