Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation in Atlanta seeks an Extended National Team Goalkeeper Manager to educate, equip, and develop top talents through age-appropriate, skill-building approaches with the goal of grooming players to play for Senior Extended National Teams.

This role requires coaching expertise, excellent in-person and remote communication, and collaboration with peers to identify, develop, and transition talents along the pathway.

Qualifications

• USSF B license or higher (or UEFA B) required or comparable.
• Coaching experience with elite youth development programs.
• Passion for developing young players and long-term growth.
• Proven ability to develop individual players and teams.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Atlanta when facility is established.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Head of Goalkeeping and supports aligned coaching staff.
• Collaborates with the Director of Extended National Teams to create optimal environments.
• Leads high-performance environments for the Extended National Teams.
• Oversees development and performance of national team goalkeepers.
• Delivers the US Player pathway concepts and implements development plans.
• Identifies, reports and supports high-potential players across the pathway.
• Contributes to coaching education programs as needed.
