Job summary

Carolina Core FC is seeking a dedicated Goalkeeper Coach to lead the development of first-team goalkeepers and support recruitment, performance analysis, and sporting operations. You will design and deliver targeted GK training, prepare for matches, and contribute to scouting and talent evaluation.

The role requires GK coaching expertise, effective communication, and a strong commitment to a high-performance culture within MLS NEXT Pro.

Qualifications

Professional goalkeeper coaching experience in a high-performance environment.
Experience with video analysis platforms (Hudl Sportscode, Wyscout, Spiideo) preferred.
Experience in player scouting, recruitment, and talent evaluation.
Strong understanding of goalkeeper methodology and match analysis.
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver goalkeeper training sessions aligned with the club's playing model.
Prepare goalkeepers for competition with tactical prep and opponent tendencies.
Lead goalkeeper scouting efforts and assist with evaluation of field players as needed.
Provide analytical support and performance data to inform coaching decisions.
Collaborate with Head Coach, technical staff, and performance staff to support operations.
Develop and monitor Individual Development Plans for each goalkeeper.
