Job summary

D.C. United's Regional Development School seeks a Goalkeeper Coach to drive talent development across multiple RDS goalkeeper locations, implementing the curriculum, scouting and assisting in recruitment for the Academy, and delivering summer camps.

The role reports to the Director of Youth Programs and requires a US Soccer C license, passion for youth and MLS/DMV landscape familiarity, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• A current US Soccer C license or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience developing youth players.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organization of RDS tryouts.
• Develop training program for weekly training sessions for RDS goalkeeper participants.
• Deliver high energy, competitive and engaging training sessions.
• Provide player assessment and feedback each season.
• Guide players in action plans with specific goals.
• Identify and recommend talented Academy players.
• Attend mandatory education meetings and classroom sessions.
• Organize and assist in running camps/clinics/tryouts throughout the year.
• Ongoing assessment and mentoring of summer coaching staff.
• Other coaching requirements as needed.
