Qualifications

• Extensive production experience with Go (Golang).
• Strong understanding of dependency management and OSS upgrades.
• Experience managing large-scale OSS upgrade programs.
• Familiarity with SBOM generation and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Perform version upgrades of Go open-source packages across large codebases.
• Analyze dependencies and transitive dependency chains.
• Assess compatibility impact of package upgrades on consuming applications.
• Drive package modernization and retirement of obsolete dependencies.
• Manage end-to-end package migration activities.
• Investigate dependency conflicts and API deprecations.
• Create remediation plans for compatibility issues.
• Develop dependency migration strategies for large ecosystems.
• Troubleshoot builds and tests after upgrades.
• Contribute fixes to upstream OSS projects where appropriate.
• Develop automation for dependency discovery, analysis, upgrade validation.
