Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead a portfolio of Go and AWS-based projects. You will lead a team of developers with distributed microservices experience and collaborate with product managers to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions that empower millions of customers.

You'll work across technologies including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, and use Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services to build scalable systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
4+ years of software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company.
