Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Full-stack Engineer 4 to lead a portfolio of modern, cloud-based projects. You will guide a team of developers across distributed microservices and full stack systems, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions that meet regulatory needs and empower millions of customers.

You will work with Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and various databases, plus Docker/Kubernetes and AWS services. Strong collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on coding are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
4+ years of software engineering experience (Internship excluded).
2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or related virtualization tools.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge across teams.
Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions for customers.
