Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience; internship not counted.
• At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Preferred: Master’s degree.
• 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
• 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
• 1+ year of people management experience.
• 2+ years of Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community and share a passion for staying on top of tech trends and experimenting with new technologies.
• Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Deploy container‑orchestrated services with Docker and Kubernetes and work with a variety of AWS tools and services.
• Leverage interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity and use capabilities beyond basic code completion.
