Job summary

Urban Air Fort Union is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep attractions in top condition. You will perform track and go-kart repairs, perform preventive maintenance, document repairs, and assist with track operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, auto mechanic training or related experience, weekend availability, and ability to read technical manuals; safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED; auto mechanic training or six (6) months related experience or equivalent.
• Weekends are a must.
• Mechanical repair experience in go-kart, golf cart or motorcycle fields preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform track and go-kart repairs and performance checks.
• Maintain go-kart performance.
• Repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain attractions in superior working order.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules (weekly, monthly, annual) and ensure execution.
• Keep work areas neat and safe; maintain tool and machinery supply.
• Ensure go-kart pit, shop, and track areas are clean and safe.
• Assist staff with track operations and general maintenance duties.
• Read diagnostics from manuals and carry out related maintenance tasks.
