Job summary

Urban Air Adventure Parks in Jacksonville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the maintenance and appearance of attractions, especially go-karts, in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety documentation to keep all attractions in top condition.

The ideal candidate has go-kart mechanical repair experience, is able to read manuals, and will work weekends. This role requires physical endurance and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; auto mechanic training or 6 months related experience.
• Weekend work required.
• Experience with go-kart or related mechanical repairs preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform track and go-kart repairs and performance checks.
• Maintain go-kart performance.
• Repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain attractions in safe order.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
• Maintain weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain work area and back end in a neat and orderly manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staff follows safety rules.
• Maintain supply of tools and machinery.
• Ensure go-kart pit, shop and track areas remain clean and safe.
• Assist staff with track operations.
• Perform facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Read diagnostics from manuals and define problems.
• Handle additional maintenance including other attractions.
• Other duties as assigned.
