Job summary

Urban Air Palmdale is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to care for our go-kart attractions and related equipment. You will perform repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable operation in a fast-paced indoor park environment.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on mechanical repair experience, the ability to read technical manuals, and a commitment to safety. Weekend availability is required, and prior go-kart or small engine work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED; auto mechanic training or related experience preferred.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Experience repairing go-karts, golf carts, or small engines preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform go-kart track and equipment repairs and performance checks.
• Maintain go-kart performance and safety standards.
• Repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and keep attractions in top condition.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts inventory.
• Schedule and perform weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance.
