Job summary

Mirantis, Inc. is seeking a Senior Golang Software Engineer, Infrastructure to design and implement the control plane for GPU‑as‑a‑Service. You will enroll bare‑metal servers, provision them, and assemble them into multi‑tenant Kubernetes clusters on high‑performance hardware.

You will own the infrastructure services from API design to provisioning workflows, with strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and Kubernetes‑native patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience designing RESTful APIs or gRPC services with versioning and gateway patterns.
• Strong proficiency in Go and Kubernetes primitives, including controller/reconciler patterns.
• Hands-on with bare-metal provisioning (BMC/Redfish, PXE/iPXE, image management).
• Experience building asynchronous/workflow-driven systems (e.g., Temporal).
• Familiarity with IaC and GitOps tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu, ArgoCD or Flux.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for bare-metal lifecycle and cluster operations.
• Develop asynchronous provisioning workflows and durable status exposure.
• Implement interfaces visualizing hardware inventory, provisioning progress, and cluster health.
• Create reliable provisioning with idempotent operations and reconciliation loops.
• Advance API development with proper versioning and gateway patterns.
