Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the Splunk Platform Authorization team. You’ll build and maintain backend services powering secure access across enterprise environments, using Go and cloud-native technologies.

You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to solve complex RBAC/ABAC challenges and improve distributed systems. Preferred candidates have 5+ years in backend development, Go, and experience with C++, Kubernetes, and large codebases.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.
• Professional Go backend development experience.
• Experience maintaining backend services in complex production environments.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend services powering secure access across enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain Go backend services supporting scalable authorization and service-to-service communication.
• Translate designs into high-quality, maintainable code and participate in design reviews.
• Investigate production issues and improve system reliability and performance.
• Modernize established C++ services and distributed infrastructure including Kubernetes-based environments.
