Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Go backend engineer to develop scalable authorization and secure service-to-service communication across Splunk's platform.

The role requires strong Go backend development experience and a TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, with additional preference for C++, distributed systems, and Kubernetes expertise. The candidate will troubleshoot production issues, improve performance and reliability, modernize legacy C++ services, and collaborate with multiple

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, a master’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience, a related PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Professional Go backend development experience is required.
• Applicants must be U.S. persons and hold a current U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph; experience with production services and independent implementation is required, while C++, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and authorization concepts are preferred.

Responsibilities
