B&S Site Development LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a dependable Surveyor / GNSS Technician to support construction and surveying operations. You will configure Trimble GNSS systems, perform field surveys, and produce CAD deliverables.

This role serves as the primary technical resource for field positioning technology across multiple projects. This position requires a strong understanding of construction practices, surveying principles, machine-control systems, and field technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction surveying, GNSS technology, or related fields.
• Proficiency with Trimble GNSS systems and data collection workflows.
• Experience setting up projects and configuring GNSS equipment for field operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction plans, layouts, and engineering drawings.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot GNSS, machine-control, hardware, and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Trimble GNSS equipment and data collectors.
• Support machine-control systems on construction equipment and verify design files.
• Perform field layout, elevations, alignments, and as-built data collection.
• Produce CAD drawings and deliverables from survey data and field notes.
• Train field personnel on GNSS setups and positioning workflows.
