Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or STEM field; 5+ years in systems engineering (Master's preferred).
• Proficiency with requirements management tools and MBSE methodologies.
• Understanding of rigid-body dynamics, kinematics, power, and GNC hardware (IMUs, GPS, seekers).
• Strong Python or MATLAB/Simulink skills; C/C++ for flight software a plus.
• Familiarity with DO-178C/DO-254/ARP4754A and HWIL/SIL testing.

Responsabilités

• Requirements Engineering: derive and manage sub-system and component requirements for GNC hardware and software.
• System Architecture & Integration: define GNC architecture and interfaces to ensure seamless integration between GNC software, flight software, and hardware.
• V&V: define verification plans and lead HWIL/SITL testing campaigns.
• Modeling & Simulation: analyze high‑fidelity 6-DOF simulations to evaluate performance.
• Risk & Interface Management: track risk mitigation and ICDs, test plans, and documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: liaison between GNC and Aerodynamics, Structures, E&I, PM.
